| Daniel C. Andrews Dan Andrews was born September 20, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended college in San Antonio at Trinity University, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 1985. He attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he was accepted to membership on the Law Review. Mr. Andrews received his J.D. with highest honors in 1988, and was in the Order of the Coif, graduating in the top ten percent of his class. He joined the San Antonio office of Fulbright & Jaworski, serving under David Jones in the Tort Litigation Section. He left Fulbright & Jaworski in March 1991 to join the Firm, and he became a shareholder in Jones Kurth, Andrews & Ortiz in January 1994. Since joining Jones Kurth, Andrews & Ortiz, Mr. Andrews has handled a wide variety of cases, including premises liability, automobile accidents, insurance bad faith, workers' compensation, and insurance coverage litigation. He has also worked on a number of cases involving allegations of negligent security against property owners. He has written numerous papers on insurance and automobile litigation and frequently lectures on these subjects. Mr. Andrews is also a certified mediator, and is licensed to practice in Oklahoma. |
