| David V. Jones David Jones was born December 17, 1950. He grew up in Detroit, Michigan, and graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1976, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. He attended St. Mary's University School of Law, where he served as a member of the Law Journal. He graduated with a J.D. in 1979, and was elected to membership in the John W. Harlan Society in recognition of superior academic achievement. He began his legal career as an associate in the Houston office of Fulbright & Jaworski, and transferred to the San Antonio office in 1984. There he served as head of the Tort Litigation Section, supervising a group of 12 attorneys, until leaving that firm to form Jones Kurth, Andrews & Ortiz. Mr. Jones has spoken extensively at seminars and written numerous seminar papers on a variety of litigation issues. Mr. Jones has a great amount of trial experience, having tried approximately 100 cases to a jury verdict. He is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in both Personal Injury Trial Law and Civil Trial Law. Mr. Jones is also licensed to practice in Oklahoma. |
